When the opportunity to try out the Handful Closer bra I jumped at the chance. My favorite running bra has been discontinued and I’ve been in the market for a replacement. A lot of fellow pros have use Handful bra’s in the past but they didn’t have ones that worked for D cup runners. So they didn’t have a high-impact, large size bra.

Well, Handful heard the call! Insert the Closer bra! Let’s talk about some features!

You can decide the amount of coverage you would like. Pads in or pads out. I preferred pads in but for a triathlon I may decided to do no pads.

Let’s talk about these pads for a hot second. What sets these apart from other padded bras? They are labeled! If you look closely, there is a little hand in that red circle. It says R  or L with an up arrow. SO FREAKING HANDY! Especially when these bad boys pop out in the washing machine.

It also has a front zipper and clasp. I was a little skeptical of the front zipper but ended up being pleasantly surprised. There is a helpful little clasp in the middle that you hook before zipping up. This little clasp, which seems so simple, makes zipping up a breeze! Otherwise, you’d be trying to hold the girls together while zipping and that just isn’t super easy.

I tested the Closer for about 1.5 months. I used it while running, strength training, and biking. It held everything in place for all three activities. No tugging, no riding up, no real issues.
